Hearing Aid Cleaning Workshop – Fairbanks Pioneer Home

Dear Residents, Staff, and Community Members,

You are warmly invited to join us for a Free Hearing Aid Cleaning Workshop at the Fairbanks Pioneer Home. Whether you have been wearing hearing aids for years, recently received a new pair, or assist family members and residents with their daily care, this drop-in event is designed to help you get the absolute most out of your devices.

Over time, everyday wear can lead to a buildup of wax, moisture, and debris that quietly muffles sound quality or causes annoying feedback. Regular maintenance makes a world of difference in keeping your sound clear and natural. During the workshop, our Hearing Aid Technician, Mylee, will provide complimentary, deep cleanings for your hearing aids using specialized tools to restore them to peak performance.

Beyond cleanings, Mylee will also be running live care demonstrations to show simple, hands-on habits you can use at home to extend the life of your devices. If you have been experiencing minor issues, have questions about daily maintenance, or simply want to ensure your settings are serving you well, Mylee will be on hand to offer personalized guidance.

While you are there, our team can also assist you in scheduling your routine annual hearing evaluation. Regular check-ups are essential for tracking changes in your hearing over time and ensuring your devices are accurately programmed for your current needs.
