Fairbanks Hearing & Balance Center serves infants and young children with suspected or confirmed hearing loss. Our professionals provide necessary screening, diagnostic and interventional audiology services that are tailored to meet the needs of all children, including those with complex medical needs.
A Team Effort
Successful management of a child’s development requires a coordinated and interdisciplinary approach. Our audiologists work closely with pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, ear nose and throat physicians, and teachers to make sure that all aspects of a child’s development are being addressed so that your child can thrive. Many of our audiology patients are co-scheduled to receive care with one of our ENT physicians at the time of their hearing test. This allows our patients and parents and caregivers to receive both a functional and medical perspective on hearing and allow for appropriate steps for intervention to be taken.
